It is designed to deliver shock only if it determines a heart needs it so no one needs to press a shock button. The AED has the capability to escalate to an industry-leading 360 joules when necessary. It has been designed in such a way that when the electrode pads are replaced, the battery pack is also replaced keeping maintenance to a minimum. The AED conducts weekly and monthly self-tests. A four indicator readiness display provides an instant visual check to let you know that the AED is ready for use. The AED comes with an 8-year warranty and the LifePAK CR Plus AED includes a FREE carry case.
