IFM Electronic KF5001 capacitive sensor with 316L/1.4404 stainless steel, PEEK (polyether ether ketone) housing. The KFA3040BBPKG/NI/US sensor features DC PNP electrical design. It provides pulsed short-circuit, overload and reverse polarity protection. Capacitive sensor is used for the non-contact detection of any objects. In contrast to inductive sensors, which only detect metallic objects, capacitive sensors can also detect non-metallic materials.
