The MagnatechLED retrofit LED SOX lamp is designed to be a direct and more affordable replacement for 35-180W low pressure sodium (SOX) lamps. With similar dimensions to the original SOX lamps, the SOX LED is easy to install and practically maintenance free. The LED SOX replacement boasts an extruded aluminium heatsink for heat management within enclosed luminaires and a rotatable base and locking screw to enable accurate aiming of the light output. The LED SOX lamps work directly from the mains, removing the reliance on external control gear. These lamps boast a colour rendering index (CRI) of greater than 70 which is far superior to the old SOX technology (CRI >20), meaning colours are represented more truly under the LED lamps than under their old SOX counterparts.
